How to use a Bottlebooks online directory

A guide for visitors to a Bottlebooks event.  Learn how to use bookmarks, tasting notes, and networking.

1. Bookmark exhibitors and wines

Before the event, use advanced search options to find exhibitors you want to meet and wines and other products you would like to taste. Click the bookmark icon to build your personalized list.

2. Download your tasting list

Your list of exhibitors, wines, and other products can be downloaded as PDF or Excel.

Prefer to write notes on paper? Print the PDF at home and have plenty of space to add your remarks.

Prefer to take notes in Excel? It has all the key details to assist your tasting.

3. Take notes

Click on the stars next to wines to make a quick confidential rating and tasting note.

Your notes can be exported as Excel or PDF after the event.

Note: Your notes and ratings are private to you can cannot be seen by the organiser or any exhibitor.

4. Chat (not available in for events)

In some events, you will see a chat button where you can contact exhibitors.

Once you click on Chat complete your details and write a message.  Your conversation will continue through email, iMessage or What's app.

5. Meet (not available in for events)

Another feature you might find in some events is the Meet button. You will be able to set a time to meet with the exhibitor at their stand.

Select a time to meet.

Then complete the details. The confirmation and calendar invites will continue through your email.

6. Managing your Schedule

If you have the Meet button, you manage your schedule in Bottlebooks.

Here you can:

  1. Block time slots
  2. Accept, Cancel or reschedule meetings

If you will not be attending certain hours or days, please block your schedule.

If you have any pending request for meetings that you will not accept, please cancel them to free up the time slot.

To get to your schedule, click on your picture in the top right of the directory (if you are not logged in, click on the Log in button). Then in the left hand menu click on Schedule.
