Managing Redirect, QR codes and E-labels across the world

European E-labels are illegal in the US, Australia, Brazil and other countries.

Bottlebooks provides a warning by default, but you can now also redirect to your own website or another site in those countries.  This is part of our mission to bring you one E-label not just for Europe, but the entire world.

Initial e-label creation

During the initial E-label creation process, you will be given the option to redirect outside of the EU.

Firstly, choose your EU countries that you wish to translate to (we recommend to choose all the EU countries).

Then add a web address where customers will be taken if they scan outside of the EU.

More Options

Once you have created the E-label, you can go back to the e-label and fine tune the options.

Click on the E-label you wish to edit.  Then click on More Redirect Settings.

This will bring you to the QR code page where you can setup Scanning Rules for each country.  Scanning Rules define what the customer sees when scanning the QR set up per country or region.

You can add a new rule that can link to either a website (External URL) or another E-label.

You will need to set the web address.

Finally, you will need to set the countries or region that the new scanning rule will be available.

Previewing

As there are different actions when customers access the QR code in different countries.

To see a preview is nay country, click on the E-label you wish to edit.  Then click on More Redirect Settings.

You will see a preview on the right and can choose the country you would like to see.
