Promoting your Event Directory to visitors

Now that you and your exhibitors have created your online event directory, it is time to ensure it gets used by visitors to your event.

An event directory that is not promoted is like a printed directory that is not distributed at an event - few people will use it.

Visitors

Announce the directory with an email

Sent your visitors a mail with a link to the directory once it is ready.

Browse our Digital Catalogue

We are reducing the amount of printed tasting booklets being offered at our event this year, by offering something which we think is even better – tasting lists that you can create before the event, your own personal catalogue.

    SEARCH AND FIND
The Exhibitors you wish to meet and the wines you wish to taste.
    BOOKMARKS
Click the bookmark icon to add exhibitors and products to your list.
    TASTING NOTES
Add tasting notes on your smartphone at the event and export them when you get home.
    PDF & EXCEL EXPORT
Export your personal list as a PDF or Excel, including any tasting notes you took at the event.
Browse the event directory (ADD LINK)

Remind visitor in all mails

We also advise you to add your online directory link at bottom of all your communications to your visitors.

See the Exhibitors and Wines
Plan your trip. See who is exhibiting and search for the wines you wish to taste!

Post-Event Mail

Send a thank you e-mail out to your visitors or add a section to our mail, remembering that they can download their bookmarks and tasting notes for future reference.

Download your notes from the event
Remember to export your personal list as a PDF or Excel, including any tasting notes you took at the event. Got to your notes by clicking on the Log In button or your image in the top right corner of your directory. Then on the left you can download your tasting booklet in multiple formats.

Exhibitors

Pre-Event Email

Send your exhibitors an e-mail so they can promote their own page.

The online directory is ready.
See the directory here (LINK)
Search for your page. Review it and share your page with your visitors.
If you need to make any changes, do so here: (LINK TO THE REGISTRATION)

Post Event Email
After the event share your statistics from your online directory with your exhibitors in order see how many people searched for their profile and products. Ask your Bottlebooks success team for stats.

At the Event

QR code at door

Make sure there are multiple QR codes at the door and around every event. Imagine having a print catalogue stacked on a table at the door.  The QR code should be as visible and prominent.

QR at the stand

Create QR codes for each exhibitor to put on their stand. It allows visitors easily navigate through the exhibitor profile and their product information.

Use the online catalogue

Lastly, the catalogue is also a tool for you to use.  To find stand numbers, do complex searches on wines and more.
